First off screw youtube, it makes everything look terrible

I go to Japan as often as I can and wanted to make a higher quality music video for one of my trips so I brought my Canon XH-A1 HD camera. Unfortunately it is severly compressed here and doesn't look nearly as good as it should. I also didn't have a tripod with a head that would allow panning so a lot of things are very jerky.

Good footage, but how come you chose that soundtrack? I think the music takes away from what could've been a great vibe.

Yup, I stay at the Park Hyatt just about every time I go.

I love Bjork, and it really fits the vibe of Japan. Guess you just have to have been there.

LOL I have been there. Misawa (not much to do), Toyota City, Sapporo, Nagoya. Tokyo of course. The thing to me, about films is that the mood has to be universal. My point was that I don't think the soundtrack fit the footage as well as another track could have.

I just thought you were looking for constructive criticism.

Of course, if you are feeling it, then I wouldn't expect you to do something like change the soundtrack because someone online said it didn't fit well, so I guess it doesn't really matter what I say. LOL

Bjork is pretty good.
