@vansalltheway: i'd understand if it was a drawing, painting, etc. that I created..but in contrast, what's been captured is already there. It's not necessarily my photos that are "depressing", but rather, the subjects...and i mean, isn't photography all about capturing those moments, whether happy or sad? Just a thought.
oh yeah definitely, in no way was it a bash or anything. like what you said, they're already there, the pics you take have a sense of "forgotten time" to it. most of your pics have this family, old photo feel to it.
everytime one looks at an old family pic or old photo, as a human being, you get a sad feeling of some sort because you know its time that has "passed" and can never get back. thats all i meant. that your pics seem to capture this essence, and for one minute, it brings you back to reality, that life is short.
if im over analyzing the photos, let me know. it's just what i get from it.
