Nikkor 50mm F/1.8D will auto focus (excluding entry level bodies like the d40/x/d60/d3000). the series e is all manual

Thanks! Is the e series a good deal at $56? Or should I shell out the extra 50-60 bucks and get the D series?

Also, I shoot with a D50

considering trading down my 7d for a leica seeing as i don't use it as much as before; looking for a portable, quality piece.

recommendations?
December 07, 2010 @ 00:39:33
7D or 550D (T2i)? I know that the T2i is mad cheap, and very comparable to the 7D, but since I shoot skating I would love to 8FPS...I'm so lost smh
December 07, 2010 @ 08:13:16
the 7D has much better AI Servo ( tracking af ) then the 550D, but 550D should do a decent job with a USM lense

What about the 40D or 50D ?

you mean film? if you want the latest leica for the money from a 7D, you're probably looking at an M6... lenses, on the other hand, are a different story tongueface

went for the t2i blushing I'm happy except I need to get a card for it

I just got a 50mm Nikkor f1.8 and when I take really low light/dark pictures they come out noisy. I set my iso at 2-400 knowing that it'll be grainier at a higher ISO. What can I do to improve my photos? I shoot with a D50.
