hey guys ive been doing/ trying grafitti for about a year on and off.
this is just some dinking around stuff i did durring school today. Id like to know what i can work on and stuff so your comments are welcome!

the thing is with your letters is they are pretty much just your average straight letters....so what you want to do is keep the thickness of the bars pretty even....use a ruler if you have to just so you make sure they are all the same width.....a good thing to also do is look at some really basic fonts and just copy the ways the bars move.....

but one more quick note....your 3d's aren't all going at the same direction one is almost going left and the other is going down left.....so make them all the same perspective...

Yeah I was going to say the same thing for you option.

You have a good basis for your letters you are starting simple you have time and room to improve.

For the 3-D do it just like perspective in art class. Make sure that it is all "vanishing" towards the same point. Each extension you draw off of the letters to make the 3-D should all be going down at the same angle. I need to but my bullshit out, I'll post up some pics in a little.

thanks guys, i didnt know if trying a 2 point perspective would work. so is it better to have the 3d going just to 1 point? and i find my self having a hard time coming up with different fonts but i know it will come with time.

pens always just depends on the person really....i cant use a ballpoint pen to save my life and hate them....just really about trial and error....

as far as paper goes as long as you find a quality book with decently dense paper that isn't going to bleed through you're gold.

To really put these up and have them come out nice i would need a can of spray adhesive and some decent paints. Every place i try and buy this stuff at tells me i need to be 18. So as of now, no.

just stay clear of going to the big chain stores honestly....places like walmart are dicks about it....but most of the time even if you go to walmart just dont go to the main registers....go buy it from the sporting good section or something.

but at the same time most craft stores dont card either...
