C. Lopez, That camera is a Canon 300D, it was basically the first of the sub 1000 DSLR's. I got one and used it for 2 years and got great pictures from it, I passed it onto my brother and he no uses it.

Yes it is, just take a look at the difference in photos created by the different lenses.
One huge thing you may want to remember is that a wide angle lense and a fisheye lense is completely different from one another!
