Whew, haven't been up here in a min. I'm looking into getting a small portable studio setup. Nothing expensive, but some good equipment. Pretty simple set up really, 1 light source, backdrop etc. It's just I don't know where, or who to cop from. I mean I don't want to buy no crap equipment that'll light my crib on fire you know? Anything good I can get under $800?

^2 of those + a cheap backdrop and you're set. As far as how much backdrops are though, I have no clue, can't help with that. Otherwise you can always go with Nikon or Canon speed lights but they are damn expensive and then you need to get wireless transmitters which are also damn expensive. But if you want that as an in home studio that would be a good place to start.
