They call it a lens but its actually a adapter. Everyone says that fisheye adapters are worse then the actual lens but I have tried both and honestly, they are exactly the same. Except that the adapter is 70% cheaper.

tokina 10-17 is a good choice if your canon isnt a full frame. i enjoy it!

heres some photos from mine on my 60d

you can get them for around $500.

i got mine as a gift, if i were buying it myself i would of probably of gone with a peleng 8mm. the build quality isnt as good as the tokina but it is wider and $200 cheaper.

try the adapter man. its only 50$ and it you can make it look really fisheyey but it can also look like a normal fisheye.
and if you don't like it (I don't see why you wouldn't) its only $60 down the drain

It all depends if you want the vintage look with the black ring or not? If you want vintage go for the adapter but keep in mind that you have to zoom in so the ring doesn't look too big and it looses a lot of it's widness, if you want a cleaner hd look get the rokinon. I have both. Honestly the rokinon is better man. So crisp, so clean and 180degrees save the 50$ and invest it in that. The adapter is a waste.

If you are considering the adapter is use it and the end of this video but i filmed in 720p so i have to zoom in to loose some of the black. check at 1:04

I was lucky enough to try it out

Zoomed out fully on FF (didn't take the lens hood off).

But otherwise, just go for a Rokinon 8mm fisheye. It's one of the best around optically.

Yup, only thing is that if on FF anything <15mm will make it circular. As shown in the post I posted.

I use the Rokinon 8mm like others have mentioned, but I shoot with an a200. If you don't mind using a all manual lens (focusing & aperture) then it is perfect, especially for the price. But if you could afford the 8-15mm then by all means get it lol.

Rokinon makes a great fisheye, especially for the price. Only 'downside' is it's Manual Focus, but it really doesn't matter after you get used to it.

Gonna get it as soon as I have some paper to through around for funzies.

if you trying to do videos rokinon and samyang are great because their manny focus.
