imo GF1 because touch screens don't feel great on cameras.

Also they moved some functions into the menu system so it isn't as easy to change

This comment on your link..
" The GF1 is a shooters camera. The GF2 is for the hold-my-hand point-and-shooter crowd."

Go with whichever one you are.

I suck at explaining things

Shooter cam = Those who have a DSLR and know the settings for pictures. Manual shooters.
Holy My Hand Point and Shoot = Those looking for a camera to take snapshots and not have to worry about settings. Always on Auto mode.

Anyways, GF1 feels better in the hands than the GF2. Touchscreen is crap from last time I tested it in stores.

gf1 for 289 and the gf2 for 250. GF1 comes with a better lens. If it does come with it.

GF1 20mm f/1.7 vs GF2 14mm f/2.5

Other than the buttons and menus, you should probably hold both of them in your hand. Whichever one feels good/right when you shoot is the one you should get.

because using the screen takes longer than twisting a dial

what lenses will you get with it? 20mm f1.7 is the best
