also, a question to everyone, how do you decide if you want to do color or black and white on pics?

Not trying to be a douche.. but it is pretty simple, do you like it better in B&W or color? Obviously it's all personal opinion though.

i used a hitech pro stop 10 ND filter and a wireless trigger! I used to exposure for that picture one for the rocks and one for the sky/sea. think the exposure was between, 2-5min.

I'm not really sure I get what you mean about using monochrome with my BW shots? Are you talking about the in-camera setting? If so, no, I post process them with a few LR settings I have.
