I've been sketching ever since I was a kid. My process for digital work usually starts with a pencil doodle or rough idea in the sketchbook. If it's something I feel worth expounding upon, I scan or photograph it, clean the image up a bit in Photoshop, then rework and draw it in Illustrator. A majority of the time the sketches I end up turning into finished pieces are just vague bits and pieces of an idea. The real work I do freehand in Illustrator.
