camera doesn't matter, it's all in the person behind the lens.
if you just want footage to look good, get a good dslr. since the nikon d90, the video world has been turned upside down because these supposedly photo cameras are putting out great quality video. they're cheap, and look good. go for a 60d, but thats coming from a canon guy. i can't help with nikon.

If you want anything out of video DSLR Canon is miles ahead. Forget Nikon, this is coming from a Nikon guy.

I know zentil uses a canon 5d but if you are trying to achieve those types of music videos the most important thing should be the post production.

Cosign! Nikon may have had the D90 first, but nothing they have compares (okay, that's kind of a stretch) on 5DMKII
