I wanted to know what cameras & lens would I have to buy in order to get that old vintage shot. Cameras such as the 'canon ae-1' & the 'canonet QL17 GIII' ?

Disposable film camera.

Using a pro Film SLR the right way will give you shots comparable if not better then digital. I sometimes get surprised by the shots I take with my FM2 and 50mm 1.2 AIS. Im not saying their that good but they are damn sharp.

Word, film all the way.

I'm happy I got into film. Makes you really think about your shots more.

PS - When you get shit developed, it's kind of a bitch if you thought you took a great shot, but it turns out to be out-of-focus or w/e. It's all good though.

You should try an old rangefinder. the Yashica Electro 35 GSN is really dope and pretty cheap on ebay I think. You'll also need to purchase or fabricate an 'adapter' for the battery because the battery it used in the 70's is no longer manufactured.

I think I paid $10 for mine a awhile back.

But like how can I get my shots on my pc in digital form ? I've heard of film scanners but I'm not too sure on that.

You can just ask for a CD when you get the pics developed.

I got a super old Kodak Poloroid but they dont make film for it anymore.
I have to modify some fujifilm, which I am too lazy to do.
So I though I'd sell it but then I look for it on ebay, i\its selling for like 20$ tops
