Haha I have a wall too, but its mostly filled with urbanscape.
Love your wall and love your shots!
Quick question, do you usually just ask them for photos?? Or do some of the people just come up to you and ask for shots?? (ppl on the streets) Cause sometimes when I'm going around shooting, they usually come up and ask for a photo of them to be taken, but it's sort of intimidating/i feel bad when i have to ask for a shot. haha
I've always wanted to get into portraits, so thanks for your really inspiring stuff. :]
Thanks and yeah sometimes I ask and sometimes I just shoot. The fish eye lens is good cause you dont need to directly point the camera at them. Honestly about shooting random people, its all about state of mind.
If you were on vacation in NYC or Milan, you wouldn't be afraid to take pics or be self conscious. Just use that mindset at home and you'll be cool. Nobody really cares anyway. When Im riding my bike downtown tourists usually take pics of me, I take it as a compliment haha. And like people said before DSLRs make random people feel like celebs haha.
BTW this is a cool video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5NgG5koPZU&feature=player_embedded
From today. I asked to take this one....Didnt come out as good as I thought it would. I wish I had my 50mm on me.
