@BKBROWN I see some of your shots have a lot of reblogs. I'm looking to get more exposure for my photography. Do you think that the people who reblog way down the chain actually check the source and see who took the picture? Should I fux wit it?25000 notes... 1000 views, and probably half of that is tumblr so 500 views for 25,000 notes

It's really hard to say. I think getting tumblr exposure is all about capturing stuff that kind of fits the mentality of tumblr or stuff that is emerging. but even then if you don't post a consistient theme on your blog then people are timid to follow. like i posted that pic of death grips and got over 400 reblogs from it (stoked) but only got like 5 new followers. it seems like everything else on the internet you just have to be mildly to very famous to have any sort of large following. or be a girl. white middle class male struggle over here.@BKBROWN I see some of your shots have a lot of reblogs. Theres some numbers for ya. I think tumblr is worth while for people to see your stuff but most people don't give a shit about photography, they just want cool shit on their blog. I think you will find the people that actually follow you are the ones who understand what you are doing and are more fascinated than to just press reblog. Its up to you!

^So awesome man. Also grats on graduating. I was looking into getting a mamiya 7, but im sooo attracted to 6x6 that I HAVE to get a hasselblad. Anyway post pics soon.
mamiya 6 !i was def considering 6x6. The 500C/M was my first choice, but I was sold on the portability of the 7. not to mention the lenses are fucking gorgeous. I also considered a that fuji 6x9 but decided that since it's so cheap i can put off getting one.

i have a question for those more knowledgeable than me. ok so say i have two canon ae-1s. both of them have the same 400 iso film in them, but one has a 35-200mm 3.5 zoom lens on it, and the other one has a 50mm 1.8 on it. if i set the aperture on both of the cameras to 5.6, will the shutter speed have to be slower on the ae-1 with the 35-200mm lens on it in order to get the same exposure as the one with the 50mm set at 5.6? i am having this problem with my two ae-1s. i think its because the lens is so long that it needs more light to get the same exposure, even when the zoom is set to 50mm and the aperture is the same.yes.

I want to post up some film stuff but I need to get a scanner that will scan my negatives since Walgreens obviously can't scan images onto a disc correctly. I have yet to take anything all that great though.

Any suggestions for replacement film holders for the V600 or settings? I'm using the software it came with and its giving OK results but what do you guys use?Are you using the Epson software or Silverfast? Mine came with silverfast and its 10x better.
