Has anybody here tried making Film Soup?
I read about it on a blog and it seemed really interesting and different so I'm gonna try it out. I made my 'recipe' last night and used 3/4 cup of boiled water, 1/4 cup of detergent, 1 teaspoon of silica gel and a roll of expired superia 400.

yeah i tried this. it's kind of a gimmick imo because all your shots look a little weird. try it on a test roll first

@chadacadabra I know of boiling, shampoo, coffee, soap, lemon juice (lots of colors here)

look up "film destroy" or "film boiling" or "film lemon juice" on google

i used to find a lot of it on flickr and lomography

just make sure to put the film canister in a bag with rice or out in the sun to dry

film soup things seems like a bad idea. just get it processed normally and then fuck it up in photoshop if that's the effect you want. don't ruin your negatives.
