i got some already. polaroid isnt even for me lol its for my sis she wanted one for her b-day. i'm sure i'll use it sometimes tho.

first time shooting film and these are the only two photos that made it off a 24 exp roll, all the others were half-photo/half-black. anyone know what went wrong?

found a nikon one touch at a yard sale, anyone have any experience with it?

I've had one of those and the shutter would always stick which is a very common problem for that camera. I haven't had problems with my L35AF though.

@beetgutts yeah i got some good shots from it. i think that the closest focus option might be broken though. i dont really see a difference between it and the medium focus option. ive read that it should focus about 4 feet with the closest option but mine seems to be about 6-8 feet.

Ehh, i'm not really digging it, the lighting is really flat...i'm guessing those were shot on an overcast day? But i dig the other series you got with the shades of skyfall. I wish you did a shot for every hour tho so there would be 24 pictures instead of the 6 or so you got. I think it would show what you're trying to do better. Btw man is this really you lol

yeah thats me. hmmm. to me it seems the third shot in the series is flat and the rest are fine. I'l take that one down and fix the lighting. thanks. Also the shades of skyfall its meant to be just the evening sky because to me thats when the sky is most beautiful.

Haha that perm/fedora combo is tight bruh I can dig it. Very insightful lol. But word we should do more constructive criticism here instead of saying "nice tones" or "good colors". Like saying one or two things you like, and one or two things you that could be improved will definitely help us become better in the long run.

But now I get your skyfall series @reiyjs, I just didn't know what you were trying to do, but now that you explained it everything seems more cohesive. Maybe adding a little caption about what your series is about will help your audience understand what's going on? And I still don't know why that latin title is significant (even after googling it lol), so a simple explanation wouldn't hurt.

edit- and when i meant the lighting looks flat i didnt mean for all your pics in the series, just the one u posted here.

For me its more about what the viewer takes from the series and what concept they get from it. I want them to have their own ideas about what ties all the images together. For me, if I have a description I feel that it takes away from the experience. But yes, I see what you're saying about the titles. I changed the concrete series to english but for the sky series I'l have to keep it in french, it just flows so much better. This is really good criticism, thank you.

Edit: Scratch everything that I just said. I just finished writing a statement for this series because I'm sending it off to a few magazines that require it. Holy shit. After writing that statement I feel so much better about this series and I feel the images actually work with the concept I wrote down.

Has anybody here tried making Film Soup?
I read about it on a blog and it seemed really interesting and different so I'm gonna try it out. I made my 'recipe' last night and used 3/4 cup of boiled water, 1/4 cup of detergent, 1 teaspoon of silica gel and a roll of expired superia 400.
