the fawk. i aint about that life yet. thats like buying a polaroid film. i guess ima have to start with those normal iso 400 kodaks T_T

its $13.99 there and they ship to the us for $4. basically what they do is shoot different color gradients on every frame and then roll it back up and then you shoot your exposures over the color gradients. if you get a camera that shoots multiple exposures, you can do what i did with the photo i posted of my gf. ive also seen people shoot a whole roll of different color gradients on each frame, then put the roll back in their cam and reshoot as they normally would, essentially making their own revolog kolor film. here's a little tutorial on how to do that;

I tried the DIY method before, but the frame spacing was off

Finally had a decent find at a thrift store. Got this for $1, put a new battery and a roll of film in it and it works fine. The only problem is that the shell is really loose so it wiggles and can be kinda hard to get the lens out and get it to retract
Other than that it works perfect.

hell yes, as long as the camera works. 10 film cartridges would be like 50 bucks, so the package is a steal.

but to be clear, he is talking about this camera right?

Ya the slr one. How much does the camera usually go for?

purchased an extra stylus epic for a trip i'm taking next week and i brought it to A$AP Rocky concert last night because my main camera only had 3 or 4 shots left and obviously you can't be loading new film during a concert. my question is, if my viewfinder is blurry, does that mean my pictures are going to come out blurry?

nah i don't think so. at least not on a point and shoot. its like if you covered your viewfinder with your finger, the picture wouldn't come out black. SLR viewfinders use the mirror (i'm guessing ? ) to see through the actual lens itself, but p&s viewfinders aren't usually connected to the lens in any way.

thanks! i was worried because concert photos are somewhat irreplaceable. and yeah, totally makes sense with what you said about the fingering covering the viewfinder. thanks again.

stylus epic 170 is SO much better than the stylus epic 80. i'm not sure why (maybe the dim lighting at the concert), but there is a big delay from when you press the shutter button and when the photo is taken on the 80.

@awwsheeet same, got 10 rolls to develop haha.
Nov 12, 2012 @ 03:30
yeah mamiya 7 gives you 10 shots per roll.

im also broke, i might sell the mamiya 7 for a pentax 6x7 cause its cheaper but honest its not any cheaper to run
