Thanks for the info @bkbrown, the xa seems like a pretty good choice for me.

Also, my mom had and x370 that I inherited and its definitely a nice camera. Look forward to seeing some good photos coming!

Also, didn't you mention selling your mju II a while ago? Have you done that yet/are you still planning to?

im always impressed with this thread. i put together this list of 35mm point and shoots for a member on superfuture, figured id post it here for people who are looking for a good p&s. the prices are just what i typically see on ebay.

canon af35m ($30), olympus stylus epic ($100), yashica t4 ($200), leica minilux ($250), contax t2 ($300), ricoh gr1 ($350), nikon 35ti ($400), nikon 28ti ($500), contax t3 ($700)

for those people looking for a quality p&s i always recommend checking local thrift stores before ebay.

edit: there's a lot of other great point and shoots out there (xa, konica big mini, etc), this list is just some of the more hyped ones

^ thanks nicholas, looking for a new point and shoot right now. i've read really bad reviews about the leica minilux mainly because of the small viewfinder. anyone here thinks otherwise?

leica minilux look great but all get the e02 error which requires alot of money to fix. I've had 2 and sold both before the error came up. sometimes they work well for 10 years some die after 50-60 rolls

i am selling a few point and shoots. 28ti and a xa2. 500 and 50 respectively.

both a+ mint condition. the 28ti is world class and comes almost new in box.

@jlsupreme does the fact that they are selling their film division really mean that they won't continue to make film?

they are trying to sell to a company that is very into photography, so it will probably still be all good

portra is one of the most popular films, so there is no way they will let it be discontinued
