Hey, this is probably a noob question, but I'm curious. What's the process with using this? Like once you finish a roll, do you just put the film into the scanner?

no you gotta get it processed at a lab first and then you scan the negatives.

Oh, okay I get it. So it saves alot of money by not have to pay $0.35 per print or whatever your local shop charges. Right? And it probably makes better prints anyways.

I find that flatbed scanners don't have the best quality for scanning negatives (and there is usually a yellowish tint)

I get better results scanning prints or getting a cd

finished a roll in my stylus today and it got stuck rewinding at the 6th frame. tried pressing the mid-rewind button and it still wont rewind. anyone know how i could get the film out manually? open the back of the camera up and just pull it out somehow? thanks!

this happens to me sometimes. it just clicks without rewinding.

take out the batteries and put it under a blanket (make sure the room is still kinda dark)

take out the roll and twist the top to rewind it

Question, my olympus stylus's lens doesn't pop out when it opens and it makes this beeping sound. Anybody know how to solve this problem? Its a great camera and I don't want it to go to waste.

When you scan negative, dont you have to recolor them in photoshop? its not as easy

Seems like there's alot of problems with the Stylus Epic. I'm really pleased with the photos it takes, but the problems are annoying. My rewind button wouldn't work and I rewound it manually and it got exposed and all my pics were gone, so make sure you're in a really really dark room @_nicholas.

ended up just taking my camera to ritz and letting them get the film out for me. got a roll back today. those bastards forgot to scan the last 4 pictures.. gotta go back tomorrow and get them to do that. all of these are from my olympus stylus with kodak ultramax 800.

i always forget that the stylus infinity's shutter speed only goes down to 1/15. even with 800 iso film and decent lighting this picture was still super dark.















hopefully gonna buy an ae-1 for $50 this weekend.

Thanks for the info @bkbrown, the xa seems like a pretty good choice for me.

Also, my mom had and x370 that I inherited and its definitely a nice camera. Look forward to seeing some good photos coming!

Also, didn't you mention selling your mju II a while ago? Have you done that yet/are you still planning to?
