Edit: Sorry, I'm a dumbass. Just read the owners manual. 400 ISO smokeyface

Double edit: If the owners manual suggests 400 ISO film, can I use 800 ISO film? I'll be using a Olympus Stylus Epic and I want grainy photos.

Shouldn't be a problem.

I read some of your other questions, go with glossy, it is more contrasty and "looks" sharper. But the best thing to do is fuck around with it and see what you like, make it your own, have fun, happy accidents are what make film photography awesome.

Does anyone know where I could get professional B&W film developed? CVS, Walgreens, and Wal-Mart all said they couldn't do it smh Any suggestions? I got my dad's old camera out of storage last week, so I'm new to this whole film thing. Thanks!

wal-mart supposedly has a lab they ship it off to, but idk from experience. you can buy ilford XP2 film though, which is pro black and white, but uses c-41 (walgreens/cvs formula)

You might want to send your film to this place in Cleveland.

And the XP2 that John mentioned is awesome, I haven't used it in awhile but I shot a lot of it over a period of 15 years or so. Here is a gallery of images that I shot on XP2 at the Buell factory in Wisconsin for Harley Davidson.

Whats up HB film fam. Lot of talk about different cameras going on lately so i'm interested in what you guys are shooting with. Obviously the camera doesn't make the photographer but it would be cool to see what you are using/ collecting. Seeing some good work in this thread btw keep posting guys. smokeyface

Anyone have a cannon AE-1? I know it's like mad old, but I found one my pops was using as a doorstopper for a good like 15 years. It has a few lenses and a huge zoom lens.

I prefer carcinogens to endorphins.

yeah im using one, the pics i posted like 3 pages ago were taken with an AE-1, alternating between its standard lens and an 80-200mm zoom lens. its a pretty good camera.
