Will someone explain to me the main difference between all the different Olympus stylus cameras? I.e. why are some silver, some black?
So this question also makes some sense, I am looking to get a good point and shoot for relatively cheap (under 50 or so). Any suggestions are welcome.
Imo the best are the fixed lens stylus epics (also known as mju ii). The other kind is the zoom lens, but they look weird and the lenses are not as good
The lens is 35mm 2.8 for all of these fixed lens stylus epics
There is the regular version with 3 buttons on the back. Color can be silver or black
And a version with the quartz date function (QD cameras have the mode and quartzdate buttons, so there are 5 total buttons on the back). This can be silver or black I'm pretty sure
The DLX version only comes in silver and light gold/champagne color. It has the QD features along with a panoramic switch, which adds black bars
the bars are not always perfectly straight though
The sizes for these cameras are all the same, even if it is QD or DLX
