I always get em processed at Ritz Camera. I get my pics put on CD and have them give me the negatives. I eventually plan on getting a scanner that can do negatives.

Really dig that cat pic comix, my only suggestion is maybe crop out that orange thing at the bottom. It throws off the rest of the earth tones that you have going on.

Nice work in this thread as usual!

also I'm looking for an SLR because I've only used rangefinders and point and shoots so far

I'm thinking of a canon a1 with 50mm 1.8 because i see that lens on ebay so often

I want aperture control and a fast (2.0 or less) and wide (50mm or less) lens

any suggestions?

Brndn those prints look nice. And if I could get a 35mm film cam, i would get one with autofocus. My girl has one and it makes shoot shit sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier

I actually find autofocus kind of annoying, since it oftens focuses on shit I dont want to focus on. Manuell focus takes some time to get used to, but imo it beats autofocus, at least on film cameras.

Really? Do you have a digital cam and use manual focus? Normally I just put it on spot and it works perfectly. I'm gonna get a really nice 35mm soon and its AF so i'm stoked.

2nd and 4th pic are cool. Do you develop them at costco or just get them scanned there?

this thread smokeyface

so i have a somewhat weird question for you guys. so i'm gonna be shooting at a party this weekend and there's gonna be underaged drinking, smoking, and what not that will get captured on film. is it still okay to get those rolls developed at my local costco or drugstore? i'm wondering because i often see pictures like tree fiddy's above but i read somewhere that developers are required to view all the photos by law.
