what kind did you get? any suggestions?


I had some $ spend, but didn't want a DSLR- overkill for my usage.

Do it. I scan my own prints and it may not be as good as the scans at walgreens or costco but it a hell of a lot cheaper.

what are some basics things a novice shit head like me needs to know before buying a film camera? like how do i know it works/etc. im finally considering getting an ae-1.... for kicks... also, what are some brands to look out for? im going to start checking out thriftstores around here.... i know yashica, canon, olympus, are generally good. common models to look out for???? thanks in advance playas

are Olympus 35mm Infinity Zoom 210 any good?

it depends on when you're shooting really.. i got a flash because i don't rely on natural light but to be honest all you really need is a working camera + film and you're good to go..

if you're shooting shots of people at night (even indoors) you'll probably want or need a flash

that's why i bought a t4

but for daytime flash is not necessary

i always only buy bulk 36 exposure 10 rolls or 20 rolls on ebay

usually pay $2-3 a roll cool

A 50mm lens, some film, and a little creativity is all you need.

I get all of my rolls developed at Costco and in my opinion they are better quality that Walgreens and of course they are cheaper.
