it depends mainly on the amount of agitation you put in your film.
with arista developer, it is adviced to agigate your film for 5seconds / per every 30, i usually do about 10seconds, which means the film is alot more contrasty.
higher isos will deliver more contrast, but that is at the expense of grain. i've found both my 400 and 100 speed films to be quite equally as contrasty, but the variable of light conditions you are shooting should matter the most.
on another note, shot a fucking great roll yesterday of my buds old morris minor and all the homies.
i need to stop being a pussy and load this 400nc / fujichrome.
