Just thinking about getting into doing some music video's for one of my homie's, could anyone point me in the direction of some decent software to use?

Thanks!
wrong kind of film but because you asked look into premiere for editing, or if you're old school and a bitch look into final cut 7. if you're a casual go for final cut x, or if you're really hardcore look into avid.

The only shot i had on my roll from my friends series "i am not my hair". Technically it's her picture since its her idea/concept, but I took all the shots and really liked this picture haha. Her work is dope tho http://www.flickr.com/photos/smokingpanda/

Idk about u but I don't think everyone's computer screen is large(enough for ur pics). The pics seem too big to me which makes it difficult to look at the whole image. Also about the tumblr thing if their servers are down so is your site. just a thought. Nice pics tho.

Something from the previous summer I forgot about. Jazz festival in Montclair. it was really cool the music was nice.

^^ I agree. I think that the pictures should be a bit smaller since on my 15" MBP they are far too big. BTW the shot in the 'people' category of the 2 people on that rock is one of my favorite photos.. Hope you don't mind but I set it as my screensaver, haha.

honestly i dont have a solid concept for that one shot. but i took that sometime last year when i was playing with the idea of 'the exploitation of the american dream'. during that time i got a lot of pictures based around the flag more so for satire purposes...

ultimately i wanted that specific portrait to have a lack of identity. i believe people tend to associate and wrap black people up with the wrong things, which in turn causes us to lose our own sense of identity as americans. its kinda like that saying, "youre a product of your environment".

my professor used to say the execution of my ideas are really obscure and nobody would ever read it the way i do, but i like it that way sometimes lol. thanks for asking tho

Or you just saw something, that look quite arty and was like...i can do that...
Cause in the "art scene" there are trends too which is ok if people take it further, like evolution.
But in this way it's just continuing the trend, thats why i put your picture into the box of fashion...if you don't mind.
Come on, this image is far from obscure, it's just what people expect from art school students.

"ultimately i wanted that specific portrait to have a lack of identity"
I don't believe thats what you wanted, that's what you made up after taking the picture.

I have the same problem too, a lot of times i make work, but then i ask myself. What is it that i really wanted to make....something that fits nice into the picture i've got of modern art or some other thing?

Don't get me wrong, the picture is nice shot, looks professional, and your probably able to create great work.
