copped a L-608 light meter right after christmas,
shot two rolls of 120,
got them developed,
just ordered a v600 after much debate.

pics coming as soon as the scanner gets here. fuck me if this hasn't been the most slippery slope of all time.
posting this just to try to state my amazement at how big the medium format neg is. ive seen pictures, but actually having it in my hand is crazy.

porta 160 on mamiya 7, scanned in through v600 and epson scan, then color shifted in photoshop.
super stoked about the quality of the pictures. i scanned in some b&w but im not really into the range t-max. i may cop some transparency to shoot and see if that's more my style. color though is sick and i can't wait to get more developed.

Would you say paying $35 for a Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 a good buy?
Also, Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 or Olympus XA2?

without a doubt get the olympus xa2 but even better is the olympus xa if you can get your hands on one. I grabbed one off of ebay for $85. Its much better than the minolta hi-matic.

Thank you madhaussss for the information. I am really looking into the xa, how do you think it will preform in snowy and lowlight conditions?

Its got a little button on the bottom that will add +1.5 exposure and the iso goes up to 800 so it will perform quite well in low light.

Dude @_nicholas u might have solved my problem lol. I've been thinking of a way to do basically what you just did, but in a different situation. You mind sharing your settings for that shot? I'm gonna assume you flashed 4 times as she walked?
