uses medium format film, interchangable backs,interchangable lenses, not too heavy (though it is pretty bulky) easy focusing, awesome quality, cheap on ebay

I was going to get the a550, but when I went to talk to the local shop, they said that it was still a couple of weeks out from THEM having it available for sale... They said the a700 was dropped to 900... Done deal, and i'm quite happy w/it.

AW MAN, you're lucky! The Sony SLR's are advancing so fast.. when I got my a200 in May, it was priced at $479.99 CDN, now I think they discontinued it and sell the a230 instead for a cheaper price.. but hey, I got mine as a birthday gift, so I'm happy, ahah!
