I sketched the whole thing directly into Photoshop using my tablet (Wacom 21UX) based on photo references of actual storefronts. Then, I finalized the art and later added shading, texturing, etc.

Just updating this thread to show how this came out. I ended up designing all of the panels. Overall, it came out just how I wanted it to.

Yeah, definitely. Also, the digital tablet is eliminating the middle man (aka the scanner) since you now have the ability to draw directly on the monitor.

I always have trouble tryin to draw halfway decent on tablets but you look like you're pretty good at it. Nice design overall man.
