Default NYC Shop Lists

(Note, the vintage shop list is now merged into this thread.)

Check here for another list

Memes
3 Great Jones (3rd Street Between Broadway and Lafayette)
1-212-420-9955

One of the oldest streetwear shops in NYC standing 10+ years, with many exclusive brands such as Y3, Jeremy Scott x Adidas, Reebok exclusives, Chimala, PRPS, 10 Deep, Nooka, Cazal ETC. specializing in street and semi high fashion brands. Can also do special orders for items not in stock anymore.

Global NYC
129 Grand Street NYC, 10013 (Between Broadway and Crosby)
1-212-625-0200

Formerly "The Pizza Shop", now a new store has emerged, Global NYC. Recently opening up a few days ago, the store is open for business, although they're aren't fully established with the items yet.
They have great prices, and a wide selection of Jordans, Prada's, Dunks, and many rare and exclusive European streetwear brands.

Coat of Arms

43 Clinton Street, New York NY 10002 (on the other side of Alife)
212-673-7060

Wow, this store is fucking awesome if you love retro shit, they have Starter caps, Retro Flight gear, and the sickest collection of gear you don't see anymore since the early-mid 90's, check it out if you have the fix for retro shit!
www.coatofarmsnyc.com

World
187 (how ironic) Chrystie Street
Lower East Side
New York, NY 10002
212-677-4296

This store has a lot of good gear from underground designers, not to mention Orisue which is barely sold at stores. They also have a very sick collection of Nikes which are hard to find, or mad overpriced in Flight Club, they also have a very fine (but small) collection of Jordans. The shop owner is dumb cool as well. A small selection of good UK/London clothing as well. To get there easily, it's on 2nd ave, but the name changes as you go down it, but it's a block up from Houston and 2nd ave. Across the street is a park with basketball courts.

Prodigy
17 Ave. B (2nd Street)
NYC, 10009
212-228-4737
www.prodigynyc.com

Just found this store, it's been open for about 4 months, they got some sick prices and sales already! Good selection of SBs, Dunks, New Balance, Jordans and some apparel which I didn't have time to check out. Go there, it's close to Alife as well.

Blades Board & Skate
659 Broadway
New York, NY 10006
(212) 477-7350
http://www.blades.com/

Sometimes has some good Nike SB's and some skateboarding/blading/snowboarding brands, good shit. Also got boards of the likes, blades ETC. Close to other boutiques for "fresh" gear, which is why I put the broadway store location.

Daves Quality Meat
7 E 3rd St
New York, NY 10003
(212) 505-7551

This is close to my old apartment, they got some fresh shit in there, dunks, adidas, underground brands ETC.

http://www.davesqualitymeat.com/

Prohibit Nyc (Sadly, this store is no longer open.)
269 Elizabeth St
New York, NY 10012
(212) 219-1469

Mixture of urban Japanese and american brands. Some rare shit sometimes, and stuff you can't really find elsewhere. A good supplier of Evisu. Workers are chilled too.

Classic Kicks Incorporated
298 Elizabeth St
New York, NY 10012
(212) 979-9514

A good place to get some fresh kicks and gear at a low price. It seems expensive when you see it from the outside because it's in kind of a yuppie location, but they got nice prices. Close to CBGB's.

Supreme
274 Lafayette St
New York, NY 10012
(212) 966-7799

If you don't know what this place is about, you shouldn't even be on these forums.

Alife
158 Rivington St
New York, NY 10002
(212) 375-8128

Same as I said for Supreme, but this place is hard to spot, it has no sign. Just look for a kind of elegant door next to a bunch of graffiti next to a bodega on the corner. They have two sides of the store, so don't miss the other side.

Triple Five Soul
It's right on the same street as Supreme, I like this store, and I don't care who hates on it.

Brooklyn Industries

It's an OKAY spot, not really my type of shit, but for some people I guess it's rare, right next to Supreme and Triple Five. There's also another 2 places on the same street that have hot shit, so you won't miss them.

Clientele
267 Lafayette St
New York, NY 10012
(212) 219-0531

Right across from Supreme. They got pretty good kicks, dunks, SB's, blazers, vans ETC at a very decent price. Check it out.

RECON/NORT
359 Lafayette St.
212 614 8502
(from SOLE.)
http://www.reconstore.com/news/2005/...128833358.html

That's all I got for now, anyone else have address, let me know, I will edit this post and paste it in.

VINTAGE SHOPS:

Search and Destroy
25 Saint Marks Place (8th Street between 2nd and 3rd Ave.)
New York, NY 10003
(212) 358-1120

If you're into punk stuff, dildos, vulgar statement shit and other vintage garbage, this is like the main place for it. The workers are trashy looking Japanese punks, they have Souvenir jackets, Japanese motorcycle gang related stuff and... It's kind of like a wonderland for trashy, vintage, obscene shit, a must-visit type of store. A bit expensive though.

Metropolis
43 3rd Ave. (between 9th and 10th Street)
NYC, 10003
212-358-0795

I haven't been here in a while till today, and shit... These motherfuckers stack up on some ill retro shit, it's not even funny. Now, they have more shoes than anything, they have a very good selection of mens and womens Italian shoes (and boots,) for those hipster occasions in us all. They also have 80's/90's fresh prince type track jackets, and they have a small street wear section, this is an awesome store.

Argosy
428 East 9th Street (Between Avenue A and 1st)
NYC 10009
212-982-7918

I love this little shop, they have Japanese vintage clothing more than likely, it's owned by some quiet Japanese dude who's always watching flash animated cartoons on his Mac Book. They have a good selection of old school Disney related gear, flannel button ups, track jackets, and sometimes have random sneakers you've never even seen or heard of. They also have a very nice selection of vintage Levi's Corduroy and colored.

Village Style NY
www.villagestyleny.com
111 East 7th Street (Between Ave. A and 1st)
NYC (10009)
212-260-6390

I love this place, they always have some random ass Jordans, Dunks and old school kicks you forgot about. Not only that, they usually have a vintage Nike Track Jacket to match whatever you're buying in the store. You really have to check this place once a month, even though the site says they get shit once a week, but check monthly, you'll be surprised. At this moment, they got a pair of Retro Jordan 1's in Sz 13 for $25, come on son, you can't beat that, even if they're used, so what, now you got dope kicks to beat!

No Relation Vintage
204 1st Ave (between 12th and 13th Street)
NYC 10009
212-228-520

This place is similar to Village Style NY in almost every way, I think they're connected, although this place is a bit bigger, and they have more rare shit in glass cases, definitely check this store out when you get a chance.

Atomic Passion
430 East 9th Street (Between Ave. A and 1st)
NYC 10009
212-533-0718

This store mostly has womens gear, but they occasionally have some dope shit for men. But if you wanted to get your wifey something nice for her birthday, this is definitely the place to go, their shit goes way back when.

Andy's
37 St. Marks Pl. (2nd Ave)
New York, NY 10003
212-253-8404

(AND)

16 West 8th Street
New York, NY 10011-
212-460-8488

I think this is the No.1 vintage store in NYC, considering it had so many locations, and has been open for 25+ years. This is the "must go to" vintage shop in NYC, it's like a mall for vintage shit. I used to work here, the owner is a real jew bag, but this is the only store I know of that does price negotiations.

Bobby
104 East 7th Street (Between Ave. A and 1st)
NYC 10009
212-674-7649

This shop is MAD small, like Argosy, but like Argosy, this is also Japanese owned, and they are very similar to Argosy. They have some rare Dunks and Nike shit in glass, they also get some ill kicks that you ain't heard or seen, this is like Argosy, so read the description.

Tokio 7 (a Consignment Store)
64 E. 7th St. (Between 1st and 2nd Ave.)
New York, NY 10003
212-353-8443
I love this place as well, another Japanese thrift shops. Only reason I keep calling out the owners nationalities, is because a lot of us all know JP has some crazy fashion and shit we'd never get, so yeah. Everytime I come to this shop, I always see some OD Nike's that I never seen, or just some rare shit in general. They're quite pricey, but only because most of their stuff is in good condition; hence the "consignment." Definitely check this place out, also nice womens wear as well.

Ok, so these are all basically in NYC, I'll have other shops from other locations coming up soon, so check frequently.

quick question, gonna be in NYC this weekend, are stores open on both Sunday and Monday? And are they reduced hours?

In Canada we tend to close down everything during holidays, so just making sure.

thanks
