Its the nature of the unwashed denim, you didn't know these fade before you bought them? Or are they just fading pretty quickly from your point of view?

Black denim is just as easy to break in as indigo denim the only difference is the fading properties.

Skull makes a black model of the 5010xx which can still produce very nice creases but in your case since you want dark denim that stays dark with the 5010xx fit, this caters to you exactly.

Also somet makes some nice models as well, for example:

i would recommend a pair of samurai 710xx. they are still deep dark indigo and have a slim straight fit as the skull 5010, but i feel like they fade in a bit slower.

Nah, those fade rather quickly. If you want a jean that stays dark while also showing some fading with a decently slim fit, you want to go with Studio D'Artisan 103, or Momotaro 0701 or 0703 from blueingreen. There's much more out there other than samurai, flathead, or skull that are actually cheaper! If you know what you want, there's always more options out there!

get warehouses!
the sda's may be too short if you're looking for stacking

No... that's not what he wants. Warehouse is the fastest fading out of the osaka5 and loses indigo rather easily. SDA comes out with a length of 32-33 depending on size in length - that will give 2-3 inches of "stacking" for the average/decently tall person, and considering that people here usually sag, it will be more. I'm sorry to break to you, but 6 inches of stacking does not look good, it just looks strange. The momotaro jeans would be the best option if you absolutely need the long inseam. They hold dye better than almost any other denim I've seen evolve, and have pre-soak inseam of about 39. They're highly underrated on these forums, especially considering that they have solid slim cut jeans.
