Yes. It's a definite upgrade from XP. If you're coming from vista it's more of a side grade. If you have a @ edu email it's definitely worth picking up for $30 at win741.com

Yes i love windows 7 so much, it makes everything more organized and neat too. My favorite thing so far is the auto update with drivers so you'll never have outdated drivers ever again. But yea, a lot smoother and faster from what i've experienced so far.

It's part of Rainmeter's Beta one. It was originally the tasbar skin w/ icon but I removed the text and changed the strings on the size of the album art.

Solix is also using Rainmeter... which again is highly customizable.
