I say Jay's greatest of all time because when you look at every single that makes an artist good and relevant he's in it (ex. album sales, lyrics, longevity etc)

^ nah son i'm talkin everything when it comes to nas

do cats forget how commercial nastradamus was? nas sold a grip of records and coulda stayed like that but he stopped that corny shit... not to mention he has the best hip hop debut of all time (verse or album) and ate jay in the battle

hey but opinions are opinions man, jay is actually my 2nd favorite

No doubt I feel you when you talk about units sold, longevity, relevence and all that, its true Jay-Z name will always be brought up in those categories. But to me I never look at that shit. That to me doesnt determine if someone is dope. G.O.A.T is a vague assumption of the best person in hiphop. And hiphop has madddd artist. I would put someone with more lyrical ability like a KRS or nas. But then again, thats just my opinion.

Back to the subject tho. I hope sigel air our Jay-Z. I would love to hear some grimey shit about duke.
