got myself a yashica lynx 14E... the shutter doesn't always fire so its a bit of an annoyance/waste of film but the results aren't bad and its fun to play with...
weighs a fuckin ton though

i got a new negative carrier so i can now print full frame without it being fucked.
8x10 full frame of macro.   destroyed negative with a photogram.

I got a question for b&w photography.
How do i get pictures like this. http://www.trowephoto.com/Gallery/BW/bw-main1.jpg I want to take pictures where my subject is basically a silhouette in black but you can tell what it is, like a person for example, and the background is its normal color. How would i do that?!? I need to know asap i might go shooting tonight!!! My idea was goin into an alley with maybe a light pole down the alley so i can see whats ahead and have a friend holding a bat with his back turned to me so i get him silhouetted. i dont really get what metering is and dont know how to do it but i hear it alot in my class. Im not a photo major but i am taking a photo class in college right now and im on my final project.
