Lets be honest here Drake can flip flop all the time over songs , yet when it comes down to creating an actual story of himself beginning to ends up rambling about cars hoes and clothes . See dude had mad cake for the longest so basically he has been rich his whole life you know what that means when the majority of his target audience is middle class and lower he is gonna have no actual stories to tell us period . i don't hate drake or dislike him as a person so to keep attacking me using this type of logic defeats your points because they don't apply to me. hip-hop fans can want truth in their artists music, country music does not have unbelievable stories in their music neither does christian/gospel music. you expect the same from those genres. hiphop is not in a space to be like rock/alternative rock music where all the artists can just be outrageous or so far gone to be different.
