I don't think "100 bars" was intended as a freestyle, either way Drake can't freestyle. Lol, I hate this guy but I agree. The difference between Canibus and Drake is that Canibus can legitimately spit a good freestyle. I think Drake makes good music but in the traditional sense he's not a well rounded rapper and thus he's limited.

its always been a prerogative of mine to make people realize hip hop is dying cuz there is a lack of educated history about it, thus leading to misconceptions and imitators and shit......

but about that rapping off the phone, that is not really true freestyling, and I agree, no matter what, there is always a lil something memorized prior to a freestyle, even subconsciously

This pretty much.to be honest i dont think anyone really frees anymore. Especially nigs like wayne & drake. Because they have so much mixtape shit that doesnt get released or put out i think sometimes they use those and recycle them. Who cares? it's new isn't it? when have you heard someone freestyle a verse twice?
