It was his last game in a France uni and if he lost, it's not so bad, but to not even be out there for the ceremony and to bring shame on himself and even his country by doing that worthless shit in extra time, thats unexceptable. He also blew the game I thought. Him and the France coach. He pulled out Henry, Ribery, and Zidane got a well-deserved red, all players that were likely to shoot in the s.o.

For sure, the french coach is at fault. I would leave Thierry Henry in the game if he was injured because he would still have a better chance of scoring a goal than his sub. The french are fuckin idiots and Zidane proved it once again.

the reason why thierry got subbed was because he was injured he was rubbing his claves and hamstrings he made it clear in an interview with bbc sport afterwards

materazzi ce fils de pute! he called zidane a terrorist, and rumor has it, he also called his sister a whore. now i'd have knocked the fuck outta materazzi as well. since zidane was always a real calm bloke, not too agressive and all, materazzi must have said something real bad!

half of you dissrespecting zidane are most likely americans who only discovered 'soccer' a few years ago. zidane for nearly 9years has been an influence throughout the world of sport.. not just football.

italy is well knows for being one of the most racist countries when it comes to football.. i think huge following of neo nazis that lazio have says enough

matarazzi called zidanes mother a whore and also said he hopes his family dies.. perhaps if zidanes mother wasnt suffering badly from an illness i dont think he would of reacted in that way. i wouldnt be suprised if matarazzi said something racist about zidanes parents being algerian too

i think it was a sad end to a breathtaking career but i also have respect for his action on sunday evening, put yourself in his shoes.. i think you would act in a similar manner

We all know Wenger is in worry over Thierrys long term injury problems and is a big worry for next season for us. Hopefully Wenger can snap up Franck Ribery, Buffon, Appiah or Ya Ya Toure... Big potential next season.....

I'm not disrespecting. I just found the whole thing funny if you just look at it without all the strings attached. I understand he had to do that if that's what Matarazzi said. I heard he might have called him a 'dirty terrorist' too. I respect the guy a lot even for his actions. He's a great player no doubt about it. Probably will go down as one of the best.

Yeah, Zidane was taunted of being a terrorist and made fun of his race the whole game. If you ask me he just shouta killed the dude with his fist's and beat the hell out of him since he already head butted. It's annoying when those Italy kept acting like they got shot in the leg when they fell to the ground... Come on now you didn't get shot.?)

Azz

no in an interview with canal plus zizou made it clear that nothing racial was said towards him merely "tough" words in regards his mother and sister and would preffered someone to punch him rather than say those words

Zidane is the man. Nobody in the world can match him right now, probably the best player EVER (yea i said it). This will do nothing but make more people remember him...even if he went out on a bad note. There's only so much you can take, and you know that something extremely bad had to have been said for him to act like that. Zidane is my hero!
