1) is french terry an ideal material for hoodies that are meant to fit/feel close to regular shirts?
2) if not what is?
3)why do companies release the same design they did on a tee in the spring on a hoodie in the fall, to make more money off a design?
etcetera

french terry comes in different weights, it can come really light and be good for a warm weather sweatshirt. it also comes in ultra heavy duty which is warm as shit and thick.
maybe because people like the design and they want a hoodie with it, and yeah, to make more money off one design...nothing wrong with that.

IMO Bape is so-so. They're just a fad. People will someday realize that they're rockin pink camo and say "wtf was I thinking?" But don't get me wrong some of Bape's stuff is pretty good, some is just hype. I'd rather own a 10 Deep hoodie or Wood wood. Hundreds isn't too bad either, but I think they are inconsistent. The only nice hoodie that comes to mind when I think of TH is the paisley.

I almost forgot my all time fav brand. If you want a good hoody----> Lemar and Dauley is where to go. From the checkered Biggie hoody, to the Jesus Pieces. Even though they're still a bit new, they have been consistent so far. The hoodies they've put out have been fire. And the summer line looks pretty good too.
id rather have a normal fleece zip up or pull over that was designed/enginered well with a good eye for detail, than something with a gimmick. im getting old; (
