LOL. That's pretty funny. I'll show you guys more in another post. But seriously, they look nothing like the Evisu shoes that you got there.

I couldn't find the exact shoe I think it looks like. I didn't say they were identical. They just remind me of the Evisu Shoe.. And I don't like the Evisu shoe. I'm sure your new pics will do it justice.

Here is another angle of the soon to be released SEVE' Dreamcatcher "American Dream" shoes. Maybe I should explain the story behind them. The word Dreamcatcher is self explanitory. A person who knows how to make his dreams happen. A hustler. That's what they stand for... The American Dream is represented in the red and blue dollar bills underneath the dream circles on the side of the upper... Whew.

Yeah man, those Evisu shoes are terrible. I would never make anything remotely similar.

the orang-ish one beneath it looks like a NSB Team Edition. And uh, a Pagani Zonda ? No offense, but I think you missed the mark

Merged the threads..no need for 2 about the same shoe.

My site says the SEVE' Dreamcatcher will capture the "spirit" of Italian supercars. Not the design. Do you remember the first time you saw a Lambo Countach? It went too far, was too over the top, it challenged the way you thought a car should look. I will do the same to this scene.

Honestly, I was tired of seeing slightly warmed over AF1's. I asked myself, how would shoes look if Nike didn't exist? Where is it written that the upper of a shoe has to have AF1 lines? Maybe this makes some of you uncomfortable. Maybe the traditionalist among you could care less. Maybe I went too far over the top...that's the beauty of it. If no one had the balls to push beyond imaginary limits, the world would be a boring place indeed. We would still be listening to music on tapes, blindly rewinding to find our favorite song. Of course I could have given you another AF1 without the Nike Swoosh! But where is the fun in that? I only aim to do what's never been done. Did I get it right? Maybe. Did I miss horribly? Maybe. Only time has that answer. And if I did miss...so what...its an honest and passionate miss. I can live with that. My resolve to produce this shoe has only been stregthened. I sincerly thank you all for that.

PS. My love of supercars is real... http://www.seve.tv/?q=node/84

not to jump on the bandwagon of hating or anything, but that was a very strong speech for a not so groundbreaking design. i would suggest doing research in both art and target audience form before plunking down your own or someone elses cash, it never hurts to refine.

^^^I feel ya hommie and I appreciate your honesty. But I am convinced, I feel this shoe like I have never felt anything before. After the crazy negative response, I went back over it to see what I could change, I wouldn't change a line. There will only be 50 pairs and I am keeping 5 for myself. I'm sure I can find 45 people in the world that "get it".

I hope this is a joke. Them jaunts UGLY. I didnt realize that when you said supercars you actually meant bumperboats.

designing shoes and designing cars are 2 very different philosophies.

^^^Appreciate that hommie. Yeah, designing shoes are designing cars are different. But beauty happens when you mix things that don't go together...(think about it). That's how I challenged myself. To position SEVE' shoes in the sneaker/streetwear world the same way Lamborghini or Pagani is postioned in the automotive world. This shoe is just scratching the surface of that philosophy.
