currently im in tokyo and yesterday I went to Harajuku (in tokyo) busy work shop around 10 30 in the morning. there were about 5 people lined up and the line didnt get any bigger. I ask one of the guy whats being sold today and he said tshirt with camo monkey in the middle. When i went inside the store, there were blk and white t shirts with green, purple,white etc camo monkey for sale. What suprised me was that thse resellers in front of me were buying about 2000 dollers worth of t shirts. they were buying every color and every sizes. I was in there to buy one shirt for my self but these guys were obiously resellers.. i was confused. I thought bape store doesnt allow you to buy so many of the same thing? I saw a t shirt with multi camo monkey face and it looked better than the reguler ones so i bought them. by the time i left the store, all the t shirts released that day was all bought by these 5 resellers.

they only limit sales of like the hype items..

nobody cares about those shirts really..

i'm sure they wouldve let anybody buy like every world cup tee in stock at bws nyc

^but because of resellers we have to pay 2-3x the retail price, which is already pretty steep.

i saw them too. i was there last week and they were there for almost all the releases, buying like hundreds of tshirts...

what are the average buy & sell prices of those tshirts ? Can you make real profits on them, i'm sceptic

you don´t wanna know...really... it made me cry when i saw the retail price in japan.
let´s just say it´s quite cheap in japan lol.

tshirts are like 60-70CDN... so about 55-65USD...

being sold for about 100$+shipping for each tshirt....

selling about 40 per shirt... 1600$US right there. not too shabby.
