Which do you guys prefer when buying clothes?

Which would you do if you started a clothing line?

I use to have tags, but I would always run out of them.... so printing is easier.

Good question. I think printing your tag on the shirt is fine but I think people feel its more professional to have tags sewn into your shirts.

I used to do tags 2. Printed is way cleaner, and you dont have to make 5k of em @ a time. You can always change a printed neck label, or even print on fabric and get creative. that my 2cents

if i had a clothing line i would make the tags like lrg on the outside or just not put tags and screen print the size on the inside of the shirt

how do you guys take the tags out? use a seam ripper? how do you close the stitch once you take the tag out?

i just use my teeth or scissors.
sometimes i use my sister's shoulder blades. theyre so sharp

i like printing cuz there is more freedom with the design, but sewn in tags is a classic move. as long as the tags are embroidered, not printed themselves.

as far as taking the tags out, if youre not trying to put another one in, you have two options

buy the new aaa shirts with the tearaway tag, or get a regular shirt, cut it real close to the seam, pull some extra frays out of the tag to make it frayed behind the seam, and pull it out from one side. no busting of the seams.

or just pay a manufacturing company to break the seam, and sew the new tags into the spot...perfect. beautiful...

i say printed tags better cuz some of the regular ones bother the shit out of the back of my neck

Actual tags are much more professional. Plus, it's handy when your pop can sew them in for you free of charge :)

I got mine done in Thailand. Cheap and absolutely no problems with quality or delivery.
