The Drifter is part of our Spring 2008 collection which is soon to drop in Mid-February. The inspiration comes from the glory years of Hot Rods with a very japanese aesthetic. The fabric is made from 100% chambray which is very soft yet strong. Great pocket details, vent's under the arms and branded buttons (It's All Love). Available in Red / Blue

i'm gonna try and answer as many questions in this post as possible ...

first of all the fitted hats ... they are true to size so if you normally wear a 7 1/4 ... well ... then you need a 7 1/4 !!! there are literally a handful left so be quick though and lots of sizes i believe are long gone ...

right ... now the hampstead cords ... these are actually a slightly relaxed / classic fit and are quite lightweight so if you are looking for something more fitted they may not be your thing ... look out for the new higgins cords though dropping over the next day or so as these are stiffer and look amazing ... the slim fit selvage cerrone denim coming soon as well is off the chain ...

as for the codes they are for the last remaining few pieces of end of season product but be on the look-out for a squeeze for all of you and make the most of them for the denim which is ridiculous ... it's all about giving some love back!

32 just seems a little on the short side in todays denim. Mostly would be interested in something in a 34-36 for a slim fit pair.

So I kept hinting my older brother to buy me the saville m65 for christmas but come christmas day, when i come to open his present, i was most certainly surprised. The quality on the marshall jacket is nothing short of amazing --- the details like the gray quilted twelve bar logo satin lining and the branded zip pull make the jacket great by adding just enough subtle details that they dont overpower the jacket nor are loud enough to throw off potential buyers.

My bro asked me if liked the marshall when i showed him the saville but i was kind put off by the way the model was wearing it ... it was probably the way the model had the sleeves buttoned --- the looser of the two buttons provided which made it look a bit too gangly (like a tall lanky kid wearing an oversized t-shirt --- the best simile i could come up with right now) for my tastes. When you button it with the second button it makes the jacket look a lot better by making it more fitted.

The medium fits really well (i always get medium for tees and outerwear from other brands), it even allows for light layering. I had a crewneck in the photos and still maintained great flexibility. The woolen fabric they used for the marshall feels soft to the touch and looks on point. The fabric reminds me of peacoats which is always a positive. Its warm enough for those cold so-cal winter nights with only a t-shirt under and with layering, im sure it could withstand the coldest of east coast nights.

I've gotten a lot of compliments so far with jacket --- my friend said it looked "chinegon" (slang spanish word meaning cool or something along those lines) and his sister said it was a nice jacket.

All in all, im glad I received this jacket for christmas because otherwise, I probably wouldnt have even considered buying it --- unless i saw it in stores of course. My bro didnt want to get me the saville because I already own twelve bar's dunkhunt m65, another great piece. Any negatives? Nothing comes to mind just the personal preference of having just buttons instead of both (zip & buttons). Not really a neg. but i guess the zip & the buttons help keep out the cold on freezing nights.

What is the sizing like on the marshall jacket? I'm 6'0" 165 and not sure if I should go with a medium or a large.

Its a standard fit.

im 5' 9'' - 5'10'' 170 lbs, do you normally go with medium or larges in typical AAA t-shirts? If I were you, I would go with the large because the length is just right for me and the sleeve length is also the shortest i'd allow for a jacket. Its borderline too short. And are you going to layer or not? If you are, definitely go with the large.

I'm 5'11 and 160lbs, my large Marshall fits me nicely. I'd say it's slightly shorter than other jackets I own.
