The "ONE of ONE" line is all made by us. The last "ONE of ONE" drop that we had was 3 months ago at BODEGA in BOSTON.

We have just been very busy and haven't been able to make 10 jackets like we used to a month. It's more like 1 a month now. So, we have been stock piling our Custom One of One Jackets, Hoodies and Flannels.

On my March 3rd we will drop 5 ONE of ONE pieces onto our Web store. We will also be developing a system where you can order custom made jackets to your body, with fabric that you pick out as well. I will take a step back for a while and focus and bringing the Original HomeRoom Custom Jackets, Flannels and Hoodies back.

I just ordered something from Homeroom and I realized my item has been in processing since 1/28/08 (Monday) and thought this was unusually slow so I read their "Terms and Conditions" and found this:

DELIVERY
Purchased items will be shipped within 10 business days of the order, although most will be within 3 to 4. Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery to arrive.

Wow... Just a little warning to all you folks out there thinking about getting something from Homeroom. That's like Digital Gravel speeds right there. I'm the kinda person that gets anxious for a package when I order it, so kind of a bummer when I read that. No homo.

well it turns out they delivered it today. didn't send me an email, an invoice or anything, just sent it. problem is is that they sent it to my billing address, which isn't where i live and i specifically put a different shipping address than my billing address. *sigh*

it may just be a security measure on their part due to a lot fraud orders. I can't really say, maybe you could call and ask them personally. I can see why it'd be a hassle though.

The distro for these jackets will be through Swagger in Japan and through the HomeRoom store only...maybe Collete in Paris.

ALVAL said he would make it up to me somehow, and I though he would just throw in some stickers or buttons or something, but no. He threw in a Bicycle tee ($32), and a Perfect 10 shirt in Medium ($72). And of course a few stickers. My original order was a SS tee and Perfect 10 shirt in Large. So he sent me more than $100 of extra merchandise, as well as went the extra mile to ensure the Perfect 10 shirt fits, since the sizing was messed up according to him.

I have never dealt with anyone that is this thorough in customer service. Totally unexpected.

I'm slowly getting into denim. It takes time to get it all right, we started sampling, but aren't satisfied yet. We are going to have long grain cotton from Zimbabwe shipped to a Japanese knitting mill in Osaka that has vintage Levis looms, then shipped to a place in San Francisco called blue sky That has the original sewing machines from the Levis factory. The pants will be offered in 10oz, 12oz, 14oz, and 18 oz. I don't want to step on Iron Heart's toes by trying to do a 21 oz. They are the masters...21oz oooweee!I love my IH's

man i was in sf yesterday up at buffalo exchange on haight andi came across an older homeroom zip up, pretty simple cream color with a homeroom logo stitch on a piece of fabric that was buttoned to the hood, but it was too big for me, and my friend came across one of the logo shirts with the solar ink and the sewing machine on it, pretty dope

The shop is going to open around mid to late october. I'm going to have some of the more popular pieces from previous seasons re-issued, including current seasons. And i will be doing some LeHomeRoom one of a kind pieces as well.

Nice. Cant wait to hit the pop up shop when it hits LA. Im hoping it does real well to the point where your gonna wanna open up a permanent brick & mortar here in Los Angeles. Even though we will most likely see a bay shop first.

For fall we went heavy on using textiles that are based around classic school themes, such as tweed, varsity jacket contrasts, etc,... and offering the best quality.

-The perfect 10 contrast, has the bold 2 tone of a varsity jacket yet has the accents that you would see on a private school uniform.
- The perfect 10 wool, is a tweed jacket that is derived from the textiles that what we normally see our teachers wear to class.
-The schools out cardigan, takes a Catholic school cardigan and gives it a military style feel through patch work, which creates a paradox.
-The flannel east version 2, is the second coming of our best selling item ever that we incorporated into this collection by giving it black paneling
-The class shirt, is a contemporary piece. We use short colors and private school style plaid accents to give it a bold and distinct look.
- The portman, is inspired by Fonzy from the "Happy Days". Its his leather jacket but as a hoodie!
