[Cake Clothing] - 2008 Discussion Thread

Im going to go ahead and start this one. I think these guys need to get shine since they had one of the shirts of the year for 2007 (Models Love Cake) and have topped it off with a great 2nd season. They have top notch printing/quality unlike other streetwear brands and they use their own models (http://www.cakelovesyou.com/index2.php?page=gallery) not googled images. these remind me of kids wearing hookups tees back in the day. something about girls on tees always makes me think of hookups. someone needs to retro those hookups sneakers, that'd be alright. and while there at it go on and retro those airwalk ones too

I think their entire line this season is dope, you have to see the Eyes Wide Shut design up close in person. I really dont see how any of the designs are played. And we are in Ann Arbor, pretty close to the D and its been selling quick since we got it in the other week, so I guess people are feeling it outside the East Coast lol. And yeah the pictures of the Eyes Wide Shut girls are taken from the movie, but the rest are their own models I believe...

It's original. The other shirts look exactly like what everyone else puts out. Stick to more concepts like the first one and you may be onto something here!
