Is this serious? I know a lot of labels have been coming out lately, but this has to be some of the worst tees I have seen in a while.

"Playing For Keeps - which is a project developed by noted sneaker enthusiasts from all over the country who wanted to build a proper, unified sneaker culture through apparel. You know, so that sneakerheads have something to identify themselves as such, without having to look below the ankles..."

WHO?!

And then you have this...

http://www.digitalgravel.com/itemdetails.cfm?prod=8215&cat=63&vndr=1116

"The back print reads, "PKF, CRIS1" because artist CRIS1 supplied the dope lettering and colors for this design..."

I guess CRIS1 uses freeware "Feast of Flesh"

dope!

Man, this is just getting bad!

yeah, props to them for actually comming through and producing a line. making it to a retailer like DG, but the impact i believe is sub par.

Its like all they thought was needed to make a design was photoshop. Props for the attempt, but this is WHACK!!!!!!

the "anti-hype movement" that's just a hype within itself.

you have to realise they had sample shirts printed last january, so when they came up with them had to be a couple months before that. its funny that legitimate companies (ones that actually MAKE product) are having to compete with adobe illustrations of shirts that will never get made.

enough with the guns already. none of the people who wear these shirts like guns or want a gun in there face. it's a pathetic attempt at being hard.

BUSTED! Hilarious response and nice font catch!

I agree that guns are somewhat played out (but then again, so are skulls and crossbones, shoes with stars on them, elephant prints, confection-inspired designs, etc.) but the PFK shit "HYPE KILLS" is a perfect example of flipping the script. By having a gun with the elephant print AND the croc pattern, PFK rocks a bold graphic with a clever statement.

I bought mine.

Another excellent example of flipping the script is the Hundreds tee that mashes the Tommy Boy logo with the Circle Jerks logo. East meets West. Hip hop meets punk. Updated, for the 2000-shot.
