I feel dumb as hell for living in the inner harbor for 2ish years and not knowing about this damn store. And It's likes 5/6 blocks away from me. I've been shitting on baltimore because they don't have nothing and I find this.

Good place to live in baltimore is downtown. Not the city, the inner harbor. That's how they get people. The city in baltimore is the hood. I'm in MT. Vernon it's pretty cool here, depending on how hard you search for a place. If you're renting you can find a place for less than 800 amonth. If you have a dog and don't like leaving them at home. It's a place called Donna's they allow pets.

North Charles Street is filled with resturants all up and down the street.

Then there's Charles Village around John Hopskin Univ. Plenty of shops down there.

Light St. Has some more resturants but very few shops. Mostly business stuff. Though American Apparel is over there and the people that work there are very friendly.

There's The Gallery, with a few clothing stores in there. Downtown Locker room, Gap, Brooks & Bros, Footlocker, Lady foot locker and other high end stores.

There's ALOT of clubs and bars. I perfer Ottabar, they show mad love to Little Brother.

The weather is cool, not a lot of trees so it gets HOT. People are friendly at times.

Myself I just hate that if you're not into clubbin' and drinkin' shit gets boring quick.

it was sick... yeah, bmore is lacking big time on the shops but Gentei is a nice place and i like what they have done with it. I cant wait till they get an SB account though. i hope some more places start popping up.

Yeah, live downtown and dont expect to get around without a car, public transportation is by far the worse... i mean our two subways dont even fucking meet up... Baltimore has def been coming up in the past few years and im proud but we still have a long way to go. Federal hill has some great bars as does fells point and they are close to 95 which means you can get down to DC quick and to some real shops.

on the above statement i have a few comments.

NT fucking sucks and everyone does bitch on there about everything.

I personally give oliver props for his shop, but i think a bigger thing would have been to just tell people that the shop will re open rather than to rant and rave. That is his poragative though, and if he truly doesnt care about peoples business than yes rant like that. I understand where his frustration comes from being that I run one of baltimores biggest night clubs and no matter what we try and do so many people hate but thats life and you just have to deal with. It is extremly frustrating at times and by reading his statement i can feel his frustration. Rather than to get publicly upset I just keep my mouth shut as to not feed the negativity more.

I have been in the shop like 5 times now havent found anything that i really wanted but thats just me. When i find some shit I want in there I will cop. Would like to see the shop open up again ASAP.

Most people would rather give their business to a levelheaded, nice guy than an angry, hauty, and immature storeowner (I don't know the guy personally, that's just what I got from his post/rant). I was in Baltimore last week i went out to South Broadway to PEDX and they were closed. Anyway Baltimore is a great city i loved it out there. But if i lived in Baltimore i think i'll end up having to catch the MARC to DC every time i need new gear.
