i know a lot of girls who cut up men's t's to make off the shoulder cuts, or tanks, or long shirt-dresses
would you prefer brands make to premake these for you?

It depends on how well they cut it up.

it always works best if you do it yourself, that way you can get a custom fit to your body. but if you suck with a pair of scissors, and don't know where the fidduck to cut or sew to get the best shape for your body, i would consult someone who knows. or buy a premade one.

i think stuff like that is best left for diy type girls, sometimes though i've seen stuff at stores that are similar ideas but they're usually for overblown prices

Usually, if I want a tee custom hooked, I'll send it to nicacelly (www.nicacelly.com) and let her do it. Since I don't know of anyone in my hometown who does this kind of work, she is my favorite option, and I've yet to be disappointed with anything she's done for me.

I'd rather companies make the same designs on girls shirt as they do on guys shirts...instead of having pre-cut up guys shirts being offered to girls. Then there's the whole female version of a clothing line...when companies try and do the whole "girly" tee designs, it usually ends up TOO girly. I have to buy my bf tees that I like, just so I can live vicariously through him. I'd cut and re-sew shirts, but when you're small it's even hard to get an Adult Medium down to the size you want, and that's where a lot of companies start their sizes.

^ i agree with you. I like more guys shirts the girls...and im the same way.I wear womens smalls, so trying to geta mens medium to my size is hard..

If anyone is local to San Francisco and wants to check out/try on some of the Nicacelly clothing that is collaborated with Upper Playground we got some new items in. Items range from dresses, hoodies and kimono style shirts.
