Nah son, it was in reference to a post that they had made so I was kidding around. I'm a fucking old man, I've known of Big Black since the 80's it's all good.

I wasn't talking about you personally anyways. It was directed towards the person you were referring to in your post.... SON.

okay, maybe a stupid question but, once you have yourelabels, do you physically hand sew your tags on your shirts. or do u take the tags and shirt to a seamstress? printer?

confused.

unless you are good at it, i suggest taking it to a seamstress. they'll do a much better job of it than you and for some of us its not worth the time to do it. also depends on how much product you are moving... but i'm sure no one is gonna tell you that they are still sewing them on themselves, cuz people like to front like they are all huge and stuff.

To save money-or to help yourself stop operating at a loss- in the beginning you can de-thread the tee shirt's manufacturer's tag and then screen yours right on there. It's tricky but cheap.

No SON involved, daughter.

good point. but, youre assuming the tag's going to end up in the back neck region. the default area.

but im thinking about other locations, like waist and sleeve hits for the labels.

just curious.......

Look in your yellow pages or on the web for hang/fold neck tags. Shouldnt be hard to find, you can get a company to do it for you, sometimes your screener will have a hook on that. If you move a low number of units you could do it or get your moms to do it.

Of you could do screen labels but in the end you still need to close the seam so you will need to get your moms or a company to do it.

I used these guys (http://www.mega-labels.com) for my label and they were awesome. Good quality and cheap. If you end up using them, it would be nice of you to mention me :)

Assuming our moms know how to sew?

I think my mom would tell me to eff off if I asked her to sew tags into 500 shirts. I'm learing how to do it myself.

i remember way back when, i tried getting a label up and running. i hit up a ton of places for sceening, the garment, etc.....

but the thing that got me was, pretty much everyone i asked, told me that a seamstress/garment broker, had the info on this. like, they were the people that you shipped your product to, after getting it screened, and then they applied the labels.

thats how it was explained to me.

anyone want to post up pics of their garment tags? im interested in the screened ones! the woven ones are cool, but theyve always felt clunky to me

I got woven ones, but they're mad small. From my experience, if you're going into woven, get bigger than normal sized ones. It kills me to spend mad dough on tags when everytime I get a shirt the first thing i do is cut the tags out...
