So I'm doing a lot of my clothes shopping for school this weekend and next week and i was planning on just going to Boston which is like a 45 minute drive from where I live. But now I have the chance to go to NY for the weekend which is like a 3 and a half hour drive.

So basicly I want to know if going to NY will be worth it or am I just going to find the same stuff I can get in Bostin and save myself the longer trip.

Well it depends what you're looking for.

If you just want generic stuff that can be found at chain stores, or stuff that's widely available like 10 Deep, Crooks, etc. then you can find that suff anywhere.

If you're looking for more exclusive stuff, wider selection, etc. then obviously NY has it all over Boston.

Yea I'm mostly looking for brands like Crooks, Diamond, etc. So I was thinking to just go to Boston but I'm also looking for a decent selection so I didn't know if Boston would be good. I'm also trying to get a few BBC tees and I don't know if any spots in Boston carry there stuff.

You could just order the tees from BBC's website or on the phone from Commonwealth (who may have some on sale).

Save the gas, go to Boston. There isnt anything in NY you wouldnt find in Boston, unless you plan to buy shoes.

plus bostons less crowded

yeah, NYC is pretty dry this time of year. clearances of stuff nobody wants, dirt cheap sample sales / warehouse sales of older merchandise. you're not missing much for back to school.

i went to nyc 2 weekends ago, and boston this weekend. Boston is the way to go trust me, I thought it was much more manageable, and all though i got tons of love for nyc, imo bostons a nicer city. Lab's got soem good sales on crooks and castles right now to, so if you go there be sure to hit that up

bostons worth it.....boston has mad sleeper shit. New York just has more stores that carry the shit, but its basically the same selection. If you want BBC and KidARobot, hit barneys at the copley mall. And for any 'street wear' company hit bodega, laced, awol, re-up, tannery, LAB etc.......

new york's straight, but if all you're lookin for is gear then boston should suffice.

boston...im in the city a lot...newbury street is the place to go...they have pretty much every store you can think of...then right near Berkley is the Bodega which I assume you heard of....its right off a small street and the store is hidden so I suggest goin to their site to get their address., but that is the store for crooks and such
