Commonwealth and Major are not within walking distance of each other, punch both addresses in google maps and that will give you a good idea of the distance between the two.

someone correct me if i'm wrong but that address i believe is the rosslyn station, in which case you'd have to cross the key bridge to get to Georgetown and M street. Me and my friend take the metro to rosslyn and cross the key bridge takes about 15 min since 5 min you have to cross a couple of walkways to get there (10 min over the bridge) you'll be at M street and just walk through the strip til you get to wisconsin and from there its about 5-10 min walk to major depending on traffic...last visit when we got off the bus there was a bus that could take you to georgetown but we didn't take it

People were talking about an sb account and how the products they'd carry would be extra exclusive, so when one has such a great amount of hype surround itself, the expectations will rise.

I'm sure kickballers will be dope, but at the same time building a lot of hype can backfire. SInce i went back and looked at some of the older posts, i agree with hunter, i think until the doors of kickballers is opened, or until a confirmed opening date is set in stone no one should really be saying anything. Its not about hyping up a store, its one of those things with construction issues you never know what might happen. It might snow 5 feet before the store opens which will then make the opening even later. Is there a large price difference for in-state vs out of state students at GMU? Just a little advice, if you have a chance to get a free ride to a 4 year liberal arts school I'd jump on that shit, unless another school has a specialized program that you need for your degree. It's all about the contacts you make in school to help you gain employment once you graduate, including trying to intern to get a foot in a company while you're still in college (i.e. in some cases even your major is irrelevant as long as you have a Bachelors Degree). However if you're busting your ass working shitty jobs so you can pay off tuition and rent then you'll have less time to network and prepare for when you graduate (not to mention racking up a shitload of student loans). In Kickapop's case, I'm sure he would be commuting from home as well as only paying in-state tuition so that would cut down costs considerably.

Your dad knows what he's talking about, it looks as if it's close to Raleigh so it's not as if you're completely out in the boonies. As far as fitting you more and all of that shit, I would only look at it from a standpoint of what you plan to major in (like I mentioned before if GMU had a certain program that you wanted to get into), if Campbell has a competent department for what you're looking to major in then IMO it's a no brainer. As far as "enjoying" college, while you're definition of "enjoying" might be more than getting pussy, if you can get an education w/o having to work to pay for it in the meantime, that's just that much more free time that you'll have.

Definitely cost effective considering I live off of 123 in Woodbridge. GMU is like 20 minutes away. I definitely need to try to get some sort of internship going. I hear from alot of people that that is the most important thing when trying to land a job right after college.

Companies aren't always begging to hire kids right out of college so it's good to get your foot in the door well in advance so that you have the best chance of transitioning into a job right after you graduate.
