It's quite a long read and you need to do a lot of squinting, but it's still dope. The original format was in flash, so I just copied my screen.
Hate or love their clothing, you got to respect how they had such strong determination. They should be an inspiration to ALL business owners, no matter what genre, trying to reach the "American Dream" of financial independence.
Enjoy

i got it from www.theroyalmagazine.com and the version they have it as is on flash and when u try to zoom in, the text becomes pixelated, so the font is extremely hard to read. i basically just copied my screen the way it was presented.

Jonas and Robert are the founders but there are investors involved...;) By all means, im not downplaying their hustle; they obviously well executed their ideas.

Even if its the most played out brand out there, the quality of their shit is dope.
I cop this jacket about a year or two ago and that shit still fresh as fuck. I wish some of the streetwear peeps would step up their game a bit.
I know most of them are quality design but most of the crap they put out and crappy quality.

Unlike alot of uppity posers I have nothing against LRG. I don't wear it , but I feel like they do what they do well and cater to the crowd where Akademicks left off and Ecko before that. I even think there clothing is quality from what I've seen. But, they reall need to cut out that "we dont have a demographic" bullshit. As if they don't have tons of clothing with afrocentric slogans, African and jamican flag colors, then they have rappers model thier clothing in hip hop magazines. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, but they need to stop the fronting and not act like they didnt go specifically after that demographic.

i had no point. i just pulled that comment out of my ass and thought it would be interesting. apparently not. therefore i retract and apologize for my comment and would like to do so before any chaos/drama stirs.

I think these guys have done a superb job and you cannot do anything but give them props. Even if you don't like their gear or whatever, it is what they have built and done so in a short time frame

if you think about it. 10k is not much to start a brand off of.

I think it's a bit unfair to compare LRG to Akademicks and Ecko(both terrible brands.)
They were a normal streetwear brand from 99-04; no different from say a crooks and castles. They just expanded too much. I agree once they expanded they played up the whole Jamaican colours theme; but it is a bit much to put them alongside skid brands like ecko.
